The Candyland basin, a shallow bog, is a 20 minute walk up hill from the bush road. The basin is located on a hill and the Candyland island outcrop is surrounded by a bog.
To the south east of Candyland is Red Beach and Little Red Beach. To the north west of Candyland is a second outcrop that circles the bog. More or less the bog is surrounded by outcrops.
Only a small part of Candyland was exposed. Much more exploring is needed to fully understand this complex outcrop. We suspect that the rock under the bog will be simular in nature and better preserved.
